A Nest Built on Three Decades
of Devotion
The story of Robin’s Nest is the story of one educator who refused to let any child go unseen.

Our Story
Since 1996, one child at a time.
Robin Neal began her career in childcare in May of 1996. What started as a calling became a life’s work: thirty years of mornings spent greeting toddlers at the door, soothing infants to sleep, and watching preschoolers sound out their first words. In 2011, Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Coppin State University, graduating Cum Laude — formalizing in the classroom what she had already mastered in practice. Today, Robin’s Nest is a licensed family childcare home serving up to twelve children with that same attention.

Thirty years of love.
One nest where your
child belongs.
Robin Neal has spent three decades raising Baltimore's children — one small group at a time, in a home where every face is familiar and every name is known.

Our Philosophy
Never one-size-fits-all.
We believe development can’t be rushed and shouldn’t be standardized. Every child arrives with their own pace, temperament, and gifts. We teach children to think positively, build healthy relationships, and communicate with confidence — meeting each child exactly where they are and walking with them toward where they’re going.
