ProgramsA Day at Robin's Nest

Daily schedule · All age groups

Every day,
the same warm rhythm.

A predictable, loving structure that gives children the security to explore, try, and discover.

The daily rhythm

What a day at Robin's Nest looks like.

7:00 am

Morning welcome

Children arrive and settle into free-choice play. Slow, warm, unhurried — the transition from home to nest is never rushed. Every child is greeted by name at the door.

8:30 am

Circle time

Songs, calendar, language, and connection. The whole group gathers. Everyone has a voice. Everyone belongs. No child is rushed to join.

9:30 am

Learning centers

Literacy, numbers, art, sensory exploration, and discovery. Children move through activities at their own pace. Robin moves with them.

11:00 am

Outdoor & active play

Movement, fresh air, and the kind of full-body energy release that makes the afternoon possible. Every weather, every day.

12:00 pm

Nourishment & rest

Healthy meals, teeth brushing, and restorative nap. Bodies grow during rest. We protect this time. No child is rushed through lunch to hit a schedule.

2:30 pm

Afternoon exploration

Creative projects, small-group learning, and open-ended discovery — the quieter, deeper half of the day, when concentration deepens.

5:00 pm

Reflection & reunion

Winding down, sharing the day's moments, and a warm handoff back to your family — with written notes in hand.

"Predictable rhythm doesn't limit children. It frees them."

When children know what's coming next, they stop spending energy on anxiety and start spending it on learning. The rhythm is the container. The joy fills it.

— Robin Neal, Director

How the rhythm adapts

The same structure. A different pace.

Toddlers get longer sensory and outdoor blocks. Potty breaks are woven in naturally. Rest is never skipped — even when they resist.

Come see the rhythm in person.
