Our Story
Since 1996,
one child at a time.
Robin’s Nest began with one educator’s calling — to care for children with patience, warmth, and the kind of personal attention every child deserves. Three decades later, that calling still shapes every morning at the door.

Next
A second nest, wider doors
A second location and a growing scholarship program will expand access for more Baltimore families.

The Calling
Care that begins at the door.
Every morning at Robin’s Nest starts with a name, a hug, and a careful read of how a child is arriving — sleepy, shy, brimming. The work of childcare is the work of being present, and Robin built her practice around that single belief.

Why Small Matters
Twenty-five children. Not twenty-five files.
A small group means Robin knows the gait of each toddler, the songs each preschooler hums, the quiet signal an infant gives when she is ready to nap. Nothing here is generic. Everything is attended to.

Built on Community
Grown by trust and word of mouth.
Families who once dropped off toddlers now bring back their grandchildren. The Nest was built on relationships — and it grows the same way, slowly, lovingly, family by family.
Still Being Written
The story is still growing.
Come see the small setting where children are known, loved, and prepared for what comes next.
